Thompson Road Oak Woods

Description

The conservation effort extends beyond water quality to include the preservation of habitat for a diverse range of bird species, including ovenbird, eastern towhee, brown thrasher, wood thrush, and northern flicker, all dependent on wooded and/or shrub habitats. The project also envisions the creation of an accessible public viewing area along Thompson Road, providing an opportunity for wildlife observation, including the seasonal presence of sandhill cranes. Your support for this initiative contributes to the overall well-being of the local ecosystem and promotes sustainable land use for the benefit of the community.
